
Medical Content Developer

A medical communications specialist is a key professional responsible for developing high-quality medical and scientific content.
This individual works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the organization leads the market in education and training initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Transform relevant data and information into a format that meets project requirements, explaining complex data in a manner consistent with the target audience(s) and project requirements.
- Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, medical, and learning and development, to foster effective and compliant approaches to material development.
- E nsure cross-functional teams understand requirements to align information and processes used in material development with compliance standards.
- Support Associate Medical Director to optimize material approval efficiency.
- Analyze performance gaps and consistently review results to maximize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within processes.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring all timelines and deadlines are met.
- Identify and resolve conflicts, remove barriers, and generate innovative solutions to ensure teams achieve project goals.
- Provide linking and referencing support in Veeva Promomats and Medcomms as required.
- Ensure new starters receive adequate training on materials review systems, and existing users receive ongoing learning and reinforcement of requirements and best practices.
- Work with the Associate Medical Director to ensure availability of up-to-date materials resources to support internal stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive specialized information, training, and advice to internal stakeholders on material development processes, industry codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with Medical Advisors to provide advice supporting commercial stakeholders with material and claims development.
- Provide scientific information to key stakeholders for the portfolio.
- Support consistency of materials across the business.
- Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per organizational policies and procedures.
- Support the organization's Quality Management System and internal auditing processes.
- Proactively participate in occupational health and safety programs and adhere to policies promoting a safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to the organization's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
- Perform other duties, such as administrative tasks, as requested.
