Electrical Project Lead Role

At Alliance Automation, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading electrical and automation solutions across complex, heavy industrial projects.

About the Job:

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and leadership. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to define scope and technical requirements, overseeing project execution, and championing a strong safety and quality culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, technical requirements, and outcomes through collaboration with clients.
  • Lead the development of electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, schematics, scopes of work, and equipment schedules.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Champion a strong safety and quality culture across all phases of project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in heavy industrial electrical projects – construction, commissioning, or maintenance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools such as PowerCAD or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of Australian Standards and electrical design principles.
  • Exposure to control systems, instrumentation, and industrial networks.
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering.
