Job Summary

The University of Tasmania is seeking a highly organized and computer-savvy Exams Coordinator to join the AMEB Tasmania team. As the first point of contact for customer service enquiries, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and interact with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual delivery of exams and ensure the creation, coordination, and integrity of all exam schedules.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and deliver exceptional customer service and solution-based resolution for AMEB customers.
  • Maintain records and systems, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance with customer service policy and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the State Manager and State Committee, as required.

Requirements

  • Sound computer literacy and ability to work with database application systems and learn new or bespoke digital applications.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer service, reception, or administration role, with the ability to actively listen, troubleshoot issues, explain information clearly and patiently, and navigate conversations with customers where English is not their first language.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple and competing tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Moderate understanding of music performance, written music, and music theory.

What We Offer

The successful candidate will have a total remuneration package of up to $88,479, comprising base salary within the range of $71,387 to $75,623 pro rata plus 17% superannuation.
