Job Title

A Radiographer is responsible for delivering high-quality medical imaging services to patients.

This role involves working in various areas of radiography, including general, specialised procedural, CT, mobile and operating theatre radiography.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional medical imaging services to patients;
  • Communicating effectively with staff and patients;
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team;

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications and skills are essential for this role:

  • Mandatory tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography);
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with current annual practising certificate;
  • Radiation Use Licence issued by Queensland Health - Radiation Health;
  • Proof of qualification and, if applicable, registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.
