Job Title: Community Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

  • The position involves providing clinical services to individuals and groups in a community mental health setting.
  • You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care coordination, assessment, consultation, treatment, and monitoring services.
  • Our service provides a range of programs and services designed to help consumers recover and stay well in the community.
  • We provide specialist services for young people, children, and families, adults, and older people, including a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers, and Peer Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess and develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
  • To coordinate and implement interventions with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
  • To provide education and support to clients, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • To contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A current NSW driver's licence is required.
  • Nursing registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated competencies in contemporary mental health practice are essential.
