Logistics Operations Specialist

Burger Urge, a pioneering food retail company with 16 years of innovation, is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of our collaborative team, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and exceptional service delivery across our venues.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Inventory Management Oversight: Ensure accuracy in stocktake templates and records through effective management of the Buy Force inventory program.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze inventory, supply chain, and sales data to identify trends and recommend improvements, driving business growth and efficiency.
- Stock Issue Resolution: Collaborate with regional managers and distributors to resolve stock issues, such as pricing discrepancies and out-of-stock items, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- National Price Files Management: Ensure alignment with finance and accurate recipe costing through the management of national price files.
- Communication and Support: Provide regular updates and support to regional and venue managers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Supply Chain Agreements Maintenance: Liaise with procurement, NPD, and retail teams to maintain up-to-date supply chain agreements, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing disruptions.
- Stock Management Procedure Reviews: Conduct reviews of stock management procedures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction, driving business improvement.
Requirements for Success:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in inventory management or a similar role, demonstrating expertise and knowledge in logistics operations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for data interpretation, enabling informed decision-making.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management, building strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Proficiency in supply chain and inventory management principles, ensuring a deep understanding of logistics operations.
- Technical Skills: Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools, utilizing technology to drive business improvement.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to coordinate among multiple teams effectively and manage changing priorities, resolving complex problems and challenges.
- Educational Background: A relevant qualification in supply chain management or business is advantageous, providing a solid foundation for success in this role.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
