Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical support for audio-visual equipment and systems, as well as designing and configuring AV solutions for meetings, presentations, and events.


Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and manage AV support requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues on-site, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Design and configure AV systems for meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Manage the lifecycle of AV equipment, including procurement, installation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless AV services for Council events and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of ICT assets and documentation.
  • Engage with external vendors to source and procure AV equipment and services.
  • Review and improve AV-related procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in audio-visual operations and technical support.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (travel to sites required when necessary).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, patching, DHCP and VPN.
  • Strong computer literacy, including OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Apple OS.
  • Good understanding of AV principles and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with users and vendors.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise.
