As a strategic HR Business Partner, you will be embedded in our Corporate Finance and Digital group, working closely with leaders to drive performance and employee engagement.

Job Summary

This is a 14-month maternity leave cover opportunity starting as soon as possible, with potential for extension. You will be responsible for business partnering, delivering HR-related projects, driving strategic people planning, and providing expert HR advice to leaders and employees.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Foster strong relationships between business units and HR, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive performance and enhance employee engagement.
  • Deliver HR-Related Projects and Initiatives: Implement HR projects and initiatives that support the company's growth and development, including performance management, employee development, and workforce planning.
  • Drive Strategic People Plan: Contribute to the development and execution of our people plans, analysing trends and identifying opportunities to shape our workforce planning, talent management, and organisational design efforts.
  • Provide HR Advice: Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, offering expert guidance on HR matters such as employee relations, policies, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with a focus on business partnership and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Australian Employment legislation and reasonable experience negotiating and interpreting awards, agreements, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
