Job Overview

AOS Payroll is our fastest-growing business unit, delivering outsourced payroll services to a diverse range of clients across various industries.

This exciting role offers a chance to join our dynamic team as a Payroll Officer, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Onboard new employees seamlessly.
  • Prepare termination payments calculations with precision.
  • Manage workers' compensation, PAYG payments, and superannuation processes effectively.
  • Banking payments and trust account reconciliations are also key aspects of this role.
  • Respond to internal and external client inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Compile weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Collaborate with and review work done by junior team members.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing within Australia.
  • The ability to work under tight time schedules.
  • Familiarity with payroll software such as Keypay, Cloud payroll, and Xero.
  • An intermediate level user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of awards, NES, and relevant legislations will be advantageous.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the company.
