About Us

Amplify is a leading producer of Australian youth entertainment, with a mission to entertain, inspire creativity and bring joy. We're looking for a highly skilled Social Media Producer to join our growing organisation in Sydney.

Your Role

As a member of our Content team, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to develop creative ideas, execute featured programming, and innovate new content formats. You'll build and create a voice across brand's TikTok accounts, exhibiting excellent judgement and audience-sensitive framing for internal productions and brand partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ideate and support the creation of TikTok-first ideas and tactics in partnership with creators and the video team for content that lives across TikTok, providing active recommendations and solutions to the content creation process.
  • Ability to react in a relatable and authentic way through community management.
  • Be the day-to-day contact for all communication and account management with clients.
  • Great ability to sell-in ideas and creative to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Work with the Creative Director to ideate and concept around the brand's content strategy.
  • Ideate with creators and clients on ideas for original content based around upcoming productions and map out a consistent posting schedule.
  • Track weekly and monthly analytics and performance, providing optimisations as necessary.
  • Serve as the point-person on all social goals (growth, views, and engagement) on TikTok and be accountable for providing vertical-specific tactics, strategic pivots and added direction when needed.
  • Maintain and build relationships with TikTok platform partners, implementing best practices and innovating upon new platform updates and products.
  • Help maintain and uphold a healthy and positive culture for the studios team.
  • Ideate, source, and create original real-time content for all audiences, identifying memes and trends at the cusp of virality and pop culture.
  • Participate in editorial and social brainstorms and weekly WIPS.

About You

  • You have 2 years of social media and content creation experience with a publisher or brand, or as your own brand/as a content creator.
  • You have a deep understanding of Gen Z, Creators, and TikTok.
  • You are proficient in creating content using native iPhone tools, apps, and the TikTok editing suite including CapCut.
  • You are interested in data around user engagement, viewership, and able to iterate on success.
  • You are a positive, intuitive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
  • You have robust knowledge of current events, pop culture, and the creator world.
  • You possess self-management skills and a take charge attitude.
  • You are highly organised, proactive project manager: adept at balancing multiple fast-turnaround projects simultaneously.
  • You are hyper-collaborative, accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various internal and external partners.
  • You demonstrate passion for social and digital entertainment.
  • You are willing to learn new skills and throw yourself into new challenges.
  • You have a demonstrable track record in delivering original successful video formats for a social platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
