Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse with strong clinical knowledge in aged care practice to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of the day-to-day clinical needs of our residents, ensuring their health, care, and social well-being are maintained to the highest standard.
- You will work closely with our nursing and care staff to achieve optimal resident outcomes, supervise and mentor others, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures relevant to our home.
- In addition, you will be responsible for planning and coordination of the staff roster, contributing to staff performance appraisals, and ensuring the home is adequately staffed at all times.
- Your role will also involve ensuring the admission process is undertaken efficiently and accurately in line with policy and guidelines, as well as maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of all staff in accordance with requirements under the WH&S Act (1986).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the aged care space, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse within this sector.
- Full working rights and a current Influenza vaccination (renewed annually).
Desirable Skills:
- A post-grad certificate in the relevant field.
