Podiatrist Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our team at Ballarat Health Services. As a Podiatrist, you will be involved in providing high-quality care to patients across our organisation, including outpatient programs, inpatient services, and care communities. Our service includes a large High Risk Foot Clinic, community services, total contact casting clinics, acute and sub-acute patient services, and work alongside other allied health disciplines as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality podiatric care to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Podiatrist.
• Current certification in CPR and first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
