About the Role

CMC Markets Stockbroking Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our Stockbroking team as a member of the Platforms squad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET and React, with experience in micro frontend application development and cloud-based backend microservice development using .NET/C#.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the squad to develop new projects and features, transform the existing platform backend and frontend, and upgrade application architecture.
  • Support the team in fixing BAU issues that arise from time to time in legacy and modernised code bases.
  • Work independently to resolve technical issues, maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
  • Conduct code reviews to improve the team's skillsets and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Understand how to write unit tests and e2e tests to achieve good code coverage.

What You'll Gain

Requirements

  • .NET/C# 3+ years' experience.
  • React/TypeScript 3+ years' experience.
  • ASP.NET & Web API experience.
  • MSSQL 3+ years' experience.
  • AWS Certified or good knowledge of AWS.
  • Entity Framework.
  • Self-motivated individual who can take ownership of tasks.
  • Good understanding of user experience best practices.
  • Recent practical hands-on development experience in an agile commercial environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
