Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Service Operator to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of heavy plant, including compactors, traxcavators, excavators, dozers, material handlers, and heavy rigid trucks across landfill, resource recovery, and waste collection activities.

  • We are looking for someone with strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy plant and equipment

  • Drive heavy rigid trucks across landfill, resource recovery, and waste collection activities

  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve waste management practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a skilled operator of waste operations/civil plant or waste collection driver with side loader experience

  • Ability to operate a range of heavy plant and equipment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
