Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Data Strategist to lead our master data governance function across our diverse business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills to lead the Master Data Team, providing guidance, support, and training as required.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain a robust master data governance framework across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead a team of Master Data Analysts, driving continuous improvement in data quality and processes through expertise in data management and analysis.
  • Manage master data requests and oversee data cleansing and remediation efforts to optimize business performance.
  • Define and enforce data standards, validation rules, and KPIs to guarantee precision and uniformity.
  • Drive initiatives to automate the creation and maintenance of master data for enhanced efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Data Management, or related field with a strong emphasis on data governance and management principles.
  • 4+ years' experience in data governance, data management, or business systems with proven leadership or team coordination skills.
  • Previous experience within a similar sized logistics, supply chain, or transport business is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and freight forwarding systems is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and manage large datasets effectively.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and enterprise logistics systems is an added advantage.
