High Voltage Design and Project Management Engineer

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Design and Project Management Engineer to lead our team's technical delivery of primary/HV projects.

This role will involve developing and implementing high-voltage design solutions, collaborating with engineering and project teams, and maintaining current design standards as set by legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-voltage design solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver timely and accurate documentation and reports.
  • Maintain current design standards as set by legislative requirements.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead junior engineers to achieve their full potential.

You will have the opportunity to work on both small- and large-scale projects as part of a strong established team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in substation primary engineering position across HV/EHV substations design (up to 500kV).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to explain complex issues to a range of stakeholders (internal and external).
