Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Store Attendant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and making them feel welcome
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including shop duties, plant nursery maintenance, and aquarium upkeep
  • Receive goods deliveries and restock items that are running low
  • Process payments using cash registers and POS computer systems
  • Assist customers with merchandise, including pond and pump sizing, advice on treatments, and general pond maintenance

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using computers and comfortable working with POS systems
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments as part of a team
  • Physical fitness, with occasional heavy lifting and ability to work long hours on one's feet
  • Availability to work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative, with a focus on long-term employment
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Australian residency and citizenship
