Music Educator Role

We're seeking a passionate and experienced music educator to join our team of dedicated professionals.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students in Kindergarten to Year 6, while fostering a positive and enthusiastic learning culture that strengthens students' wellbeing and appreciation of music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality music education to students, utilising the Kodály method or equivalent teaching approaches.
  • Develop and implement engaging music curricula that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Conduct music ensembles, including concert bands and/or choirs, and participate in primary musical productions.
  • Cultivate relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the cultural life of the college community through music initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education/Music Education degree or equivalent.
  • Australian Kodály Certificate (desirable).
  • High level of musicianship, particularly conducting and ensemble leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Kingdom Education and alignment with our code of conduct and child safe policies.
