Lead Estate Law at a Growing Tech Platform

This firm is a leading end-of-life tech platform, redefining how people access wills and estate services nationwide.

As a Senior Associate, you'll develop complex client strategies, mentor junior team members, and shape systems that enable our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on sophisticated estate plans for blended families, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, self-managed super funds, and disability considerations.
  • Develop and review complex Wills, testamentary trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and ancillary documents across every Australian jurisdiction.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, lead advice conferences, communicate options with empathy, and deliver outcomes end-to-end.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, ensuring quality, accuracy, and continuous growth.
  • Improve our engine, refine precedents, templates, and workflows; test new automations; surface insights from our CRM.
  • Drive growth, balance legal excellence with commercial awareness, tracking metrics and identifying opportunities to expand our offering.
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of post-qualification experience with significant experience in estate planning, testamentary trusts, and related advisory work.
  • Proficiency in Probate & Administration matters or strong interest.
  • Confident facilitation of client strategy sessions; exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional drafting and document-review rigor.
  • Commercial mindset: comfortable juggling advisory, sales, and quality control.
  • Collaborative leadership: uplift teammates and share knowledge freely.
  • Data-curious: willing to track performance and iterate for continuous improvement.
