Mobile Food Service Specialist

The role of a Mobile Food Service Specialist involves delivering high-quality food and beverage products to customers through a mobile food unit. This specialist will be responsible for operating the food truck, ensuring it is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience:
    • Provide friendly and professional service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
    • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
  • Truck Operations:
    • Operate and maintain the food truck, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
    • Be able to make coffee and troubleshoot most problems.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders with the kitchen as needed.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage waste to minimize loss and ensure freshness.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the food truck.
    • Assist in training new staff and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
    • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in coffee preparation, food preparation, and customer service, preferably in a mobile food environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a mobile food environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 20KG.
