The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Service Technician to join our dynamic Service Team, based out of Brisbane, Queensland.

You will play a key role in ensuring our customers' equipment is functional and safe to use by caregivers and residents/patients. Your technical skills and positive attitude will help drive positive change for people with mobility challenges and enhance the quality of life for our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment and related third-party equipment
- Perform routine scheduled servicing; preventative and breakdown support
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames;
- Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in our service management system;
- Maintain your vehicle in good condition and report spare parts stock accurately in our service management system;
- Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with our company policies;
- The Service Technician role will require quarterly travel to Cairns to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base.

Requirements:

- Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude;
- 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service-related sector;
- Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills ;
- Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet performance targets/KPIs;
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well-presented, confident, and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments;
- The ability to understand customers' needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit;
- Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment;
- Computer literacy. Familiarity with tablet devices will be advantageous;
- The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
- A current QLD driver's licence (Class C) is essential;
- Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination, in order to commence in this role.
