Engineering Management Role

The Engineering Manager is accountable for leading and enhancing an engineering organization responsible for designing, developing, validating, improving, and supporting products, systems, or applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and improve the engineering organization to enhance product development velocity and cost efficiency.
  • Create and maintain design standards for high-quality and compliant products.
  • Develop and manage resources to support profit planning activities.
  • Anticipate and resolve project risks, providing technical expertise to the extended enterprise.
  • Assign resources to projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS).
  • 6-8 years of Engineering experience in an identical or closely related field.
  • Greenbelt experience and previous management experience.
  • Lean experience and knowledge of Design for Six Sigma practices.
