Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the design, inspection, testing, and maintenance of various instrumentation and electrical hazardous area equipment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team.

As an Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for executing or coordinating minor engineering changes to instrumentation systems, developing procedures to establish safe work practices while maximizing operational performance, analyzing the instrumentation system performance of operational areas (Ore Leach, Refinery etc), finding solutions to instrumentation engineering problems, and ensuring adequate resources are available to respond rapidly to foreseeable instrumentation availability problems.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new technologies and processes, working closely with our technical teams to drive innovation and improvement.

About You:

  • We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and EEHA Competency (Design & Maintenance) to AS/NZS 4761.1/2 or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in control and instrumentation systems associated with chemical process plant, power station or Mining.
  • Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, or eligibility to obtain full membership.
