Job Description
The Facilities and Security Manager will oversee the maintenance of office facilities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This includes ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, developing and implementing maintenance programs, and managing operational budgets.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) requirements
- Maintain office facilities to a high standard, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to avoid downtime and maximize asset lifespan
- Manage workplace safety protocols and emergency preparedness
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, including negotiation of service agreements and quotes
- Manage access control systems, visitor management, and contractor compliance
About You
We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Security Manager to join our team. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in facilities management and security operations
- Knowledge of Australian Defence security regulations, including DISP and DSPF
- Experience in managing physical office spaces and coordinating maintenance and safety compliance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
