Workshop Fabrication Manager Role

This position oversees workshop operations, leading a team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

About the Role
  • Lead fabrication schedules, review drawings, and set clear production objectives.
  • Maintain strong focus on workplace safety, driving a proactive safety culture across the workshop.
  • Manage resource allocation, including overtime and labour utilisation, to optimise delivery and control costs.
  • Work closely with estimators, drafters, project managers, and procurement to align on project priorities.
About You
  • Trade/Engineering qualified (Fitter, Boilermaker or similar) with extensive workshop and fabrication experience.
  • Proven leadership in workshop or fabrication environments, with strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Confident interpreting technical drawings and managing production schedules.
  • Skilled in engaging and motivating teams, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
