Heavy Fabrication Specialist Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the region's largest fabrication projects, utilizing cutting-edge technology and equipment.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in heavy fabrication, including welding, metal forming, and other related processes. They will also possess a strong understanding of quality control procedures and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out heavy fabrication tasks to high standards of quality and safety
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new fabrication processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in heavy fabrication (Australian recognized trade qualification)
  • Ability to pass a weld test, including vertical, overhead fillet, and butt welds
  • Confined space, gas test, and working at heights qualifications desirable
  • High-risk licenses for forklift, dogging, and rigging desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all aspects of work
