Education and Childcare Job Description">

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team in Geelong. As an educator, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and fun activities for school-age children in a Before School and After School Care Program.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the children's safety, engagement, and well-being while providing exceptional care and supervision. You will also need to interact with the children, join in on their experiences, and prepare materials for activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality educational programs that cater to the needs of individual children.
  • Provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, families, and children to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in education and childcare.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A Certificate III or higher qualification in relevant fields (e.g., Outside School Hours Care, community services) is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certification in relevant fields (e.g., Outside School Hours Care, community services).
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Current child protection training and knowledge of child safe standards.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
