Aged Care Assistant

About the Role: This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, empathetic, and driven to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents by supporting their independence, comfort, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, and meal assistance.
- Assist in the daily preparation, service, and delivery of meals to residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care notes in alignment with each resident's care plan.
- Ensure the comfort and dignity of each resident at all times.
- Identify potential health and environmental hazards and proactively take corrective actions to maintain a safe environment.
About You:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
- Previous experience and a strong passion for working in the Aged Care sector.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Seasonal Influenza vaccination.
- NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Appreciation for diverse cultures and lifestyles, and a respectful approach to care.
