Key Responsibilities

This role involves driving scheduled items and assisting with collection and delivery of returns safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading items, ensuring the load is secure at all times, following transport legislation and guidelines, customer service and resolving customer queries is a large part of this role.

  • Conduct pre-start checks on the vehicle and equipment before use
  • Report any faults to management immediately
  • Complete daily run sheets and have delivery notes signed
  • Drive and work in a safe manner at all times
  • Adhere to COR requirements
  • Complete daily load audits
  • Ensure tidy presentation of vehicle and equipment at all times.
  • Ensure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of NSW and QLD Road Rules and adhering to transport legislation/guidelines and road safety guidelines at all times
  • Assist customers with requests and queries/disputes
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced driver with HR/MC license, proactive nature, high attention to detail, Construction Industry White card, vehicle unloading crane experience and Forklift or VLC license desirable.
