About the Role

The Therapies Research Team is responsible for assessing the benefits, cost-effectiveness, and safety of specific therapies for people with disability. This involves drawing on published literature, including clinical and academic studies and reviews. The team will also conduct analysis to identify gaps in therapy-related research and provide advice to government on matters relating to the evidence base for future disability policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external experts and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the forward workplan for the Disability Evidence Branch
  • Lead the Therapies Research Team to deliver against the workplan
