The Head of Primary will be responsible for maintaining and developing the positive culture and community of the primary school, ensuring students have access to high-quality teaching and learning. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of educational leadership, experience in curriculum development, and a deep understanding of the importance of student-centered learning. They will be a strategic thinker, able to drive innovation and improvement in the school, while also prioritizing the needs of students and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field (desired)
• Recognized teaching qualification
• Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable)
• Experience in educational leadership, preferably in a Christian school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community
