About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Mining & Energy Major Projects team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple electrical supply packages on a large-scale major project.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all work undertaken complies with the scope and meets operational requirements. You will also be responsible for developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, as well as supervising electrical discipline work and ensuring it meets quality, cost, and time constraints.

In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring progress and identifying potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards, and risks. You will also develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will have a strong background in electrical project engineering and management, with a proven track record of delivering projects within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of professional experience in electrical project engineering and management.

You will also need to have demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry, as well as previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills.
