**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Business Leader to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our store through effective leadership, strong communication, and a customer-centric approach.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Manage the store budget, including variable expenses such as labor, inventory, and profit margins.
  • BUILD strong relationships with new and existing trade and retail customers for sales growth and service.
  • Maintain high store standards, including stock replenishment, visual displays, campaigns/promotions, and merchandising.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Previous retail management experience with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a trusting team.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships via strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and organisational skills to delegate tasks and roles effectively.
  • Experience servicing both trade and retail customers and growing a business.
  • Demonstrated financial and strong business acumen, including understanding P&L reports, inventory management, rostering, and controlling expenses.
  • Requirement for a driver's licence and the capacity to perform manual tasks, e.g. lifting of 15L cans of paint.
  • Ability to effectively handle conflict and work under pressuring timelines.
