The role offers a unique blend of marketing expertise and retail acumen, allowing you to drive incremental growth for the business. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating marketing activities across digital, retail, and other channels, with a strong focus on retail media platforms.

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase sales, transactions, and category participation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, studio, media, merchandise) and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.
  • Manage campaign briefs, imagery, and supplier communications using tools like Monday.com and Dropbox.
  • Identify and unlock revenue opportunities through emerging partnerships with Kmart loyalty teams and Beauty & Apparel suppliers.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a high drive for achievement.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign execution.
  • High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in written communication (briefs, reports) and working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, influence others, and negotiate effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute beyond your role.
  • Awareness of how your actions impact others and openness to feedback.
