Job Opportunity:

The role of Head of Financial Markets is a key position within the Institutional Bank, responsible for providing dedicated compliance support to the Financial Markets and Treasury businesses.

">

In this role, you will lead the implementation of compliance strategy across the Financial Markets and Group Treasury businesses, including risk assessment, incident management, monitoring, reporting, training, and continuous improvement.

">

You will be responsible for executing the Compliance functional agenda as it relates to Financial Markets and Treasury businesses, including managing teams, providing expert advisory compliance support, and supporting the resolution of critical compliance business issues.

">

This is a highly visible role that requires collaboration with stakeholders across the business, including County Heads of Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, Group Control Room, Surveillance, and Regulators.

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in compliance, people management experience, and the ability to adapt to rapid digitisation and technology change in financial services.

">

You will also need to have comprehensive knowledge of compliance developments, the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong influencing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of compliance strategy across Financial Markets and Group Treasury businesses">

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' compliance experience in large corporations or regulator">
  • Prior people management experience">
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key stakeholder relationships at a senior level both internally and externally">
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance developments">
  • Ability to adapt to rapid digitisation and technology change in financial services">
  • Strong influencing skills">
