Position OverviewThe Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) role reports directly to the Manager of Community Health Services (MCHS) and works in tandem with Senior Management and administrative staff to guide and support the Community Health Services Team. This position guarantees the delivery of dependable, high-quality in-home nursing care that centers on a person-focused approach for clients, families, and healthcare professionals, all while adhering to best-practice clinical standards.
Key responsibilities include overseeing a manageable caseload and providing both internal and external clinical supervision to ensure quality assurance, accreditation, and various organizational initiatives.
Qualifications- Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams.
- Ability to uphold high clinical standards in line with compliance, governance, and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
- Strong time management skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Innovative thinking, opportunity recognition, and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate within a team and coordinate multiple tasks to achieve strategic goals.
- Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
- Successful National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Valid Tasmanian Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel within the state as necessary.
