Press Brake Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our Cairns team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating the press brake machine to ensure high-quality products are manufactured to specifications.

• Operate the press brake machine as part of the production process, ensuring safety and reliability
• Set up and press materials to manufacturing specifications, maintaining a high level of quality
• Inspect final products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and correct machine malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime
• Interpret technical drawings for component specifications, ensuring accuracy
• Ensure the health and safety of all customers, visitors, and team members
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, meeting safety, time, quality, and production targets
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols

• Experience in a similar role operating a press machine (desirable)
• Australian Manual Driver's Licence
• Forklift ticket an advantage
• Excellent quality of work and time management skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of 4x4 makes, models, and popular accessories and brands (desirable)
