We're seeking an experienced Editorial Director to join our team and lead our editorial strategy. This role will be key to growing our audience, evolving content formats, and building brand credibility in high-value commercial categories.

  • This role requires a commercially savvy content leader with 10+ years of experience managing teams in content creation and audience development within fast-paced digital lifestyle media environments.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality and lifestyle industries and know how to create engaging content that drives both audience loyalty and revenue growth.
About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute a content strategy that sets Urban List's brand apart
  • Grow and engage our audience across website, email, social, and emerging platforms
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing content team and freelancer network
  • Champion data-led decision-making and a culture of continual improvement and optimisation
  • Build Urban List's authority in key verticals, strengthening audience trust and commercial value
  • Create high-impact editorial opportunities that support brand partnerships
