Senior Backend Software Engineer

At our company, we're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our digital products team. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver software from concept to deployment.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to help them grow and succeed.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve our development process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on back-end technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in one of Go, Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with systems like Azure AD, AWS Cognito, LDAP, Okta, Keycloak.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
