About this Bartender role

This Bartender position is a key part of our hotel's dispense bar team, supporting three dining outlets within the hotel. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the efficient preparation of all beverages for our guests.

The Role:

  • Prepare a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, non-alcoholic drinks, coffees, and teas, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Support the dispense bar operations by assisting with stock replenishment, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
  • Work collaboratively with the venue teams to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks such as glassware polishing, garnish preparation, and restocking.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as hotel policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with colleagues and supervisors to address any issues or concerns promptly.

Talent Profile:

  • A strong knowledge of beverage & cocktail preparation techniques and recipes is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
