High-Level Infrastructure Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of council's civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards.
- Tendering and Contract Management: Manage tendering processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective contract administration.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including council members, contractors, and community groups.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Professional Qualifications: Possess a Civil Engineering degree and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Victoria.
- Project Delivery Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering projects within time, budget, and quality constraints.
- Local Government Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles, and legislation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present reports to various stakeholders.
- Negotiation and Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
