Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in PE Pipe Extrusion. This role involves operating high-precision HDPE pipe extrusion lines, setting up and running automated coiler machines, and conducting regular product checks.

With experience in extrusion, you will be responsible for handling coloured materials for production, operating forklifts and Hubtex equipment safely, and troubleshooting faults and adjusting machine settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HDPE pipe extrusion lines with precision
  • Set up and operate automated coiler machines efficiently
  • Conduct regular product checks and record accurate measurements
  • Handle coloured materials for production
  • Operate forklifts and Hubtex equipment safely
  • Troubleshoot faults and adjust machine settings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in HDPE or PVC pipe extrusion
  • Experience with Workplace Health, Safety & Environment practices
  • Familiarity with AS/NZS4130 manufacturing standards
  • Competence using measuring tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • A positive attitude and team spirit
  • Ability to learn quickly
