Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead all site and supply chain activities with a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a positive safety culture across all on-site activities.
- Build and grow a high-performing team by coaching and mentoring employees to achieve labor utilization goals.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create operational strategies that maximize site efficiencies while balancing customer service and safety.
- Manage staff requirements to ensure maximum labor utilization.
- Optimize equipment allocation and utilization between activities.
- Assist in developing strategic plans for equipment maintenance and capital budgets.
- Monitor and improve the financial performance of the site.
- Contribute to production forecasting and business planning.
- Maintain fixed and mobile machinery within the site through preventative maintenance programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Industry recognized grain sampling and inspection certification.
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for process improvements and resource optimization.
- Accreditation from relevant authorities.
- Grain storage and handling experience or warehouse operation knowledge.
- Understanding of chain of responsibility obligations.
- Risk identification accreditation.
- Leadership and people management skills to manage teams of varying sizes.
