We are seeking a skilled Rail Track Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Perth, Western Australia on a casual basis.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor, ensuring all technical, safety procedures, and contract-specific requirements are met.
- Perform routine track maintenance tasks, including inspection, repair, and replacement of tracks and associated equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver rail construction projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in rail construction projects or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure or equivalent qualification.
- Trackwork and labouring experience, preferably in a similar context.
- A current C-class driver's license.
- Welding and grinding skills (desired).
- Machine operating experience (desired).
- Hi-Rail Excavator certification (desired).
- MC/HR Licenses (desired).
- Construction industry white card (desired).
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card (desired).
- PTA and Arc infrastructure track accreditation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and career growth.
