Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team at Byrnecut. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and breakdown maintenance on our fleet of underground mining equipment.

About the Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of underground mining equipment, including trucks, drills, and loaders.
  • Work collaboratively with our dynamic maintenance team to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with equipment to ensure timely repairs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.

Requirements:

  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (Australian recognized)
  • Experience with underground equipment is preferred but not essential
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
