Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at The Decipher Bureau. As a key member of our GRC team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001.

About the Role

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001, ASD ISM & Essential 8, Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). You will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate information security requirements into business processes and projects, implement ISMS tooling to automate GRC processes, and facilitate external audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the ISMS in accordance with the specified standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate information security requirements into business processes and projects.
  • Implement ISMS tooling to automate GRC processes.
  • Facilitate external audits.
  • Uplift existing risk management processes to meet ISO 27001.
  • Conduct risk assessments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, IRAP Assessor, Security+, or similar. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC certifications are highly desirable.
