Position Overview

Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Library Officer to join our team. As a Library Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the library operations and providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance of the library collection, including cataloging and shelving of books and other materials.
  • Provide research assistance to students and staff, including helping with literature searches and recommending resources.
  • Support the development of the library's online presence, including maintaining the library's website and social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate library resources into the curriculum.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos and values. They must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
