Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Registered Nurse with The MyHomecare Group, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing high-quality care and support to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical and personal care duties, with a holistic approach to in-home patient care
  • Provide clinical judgement, creativity and sensitivity to develop care plans that are aligned to the client's assessed needs
  • Monitor chronic and palliative conditions
  • Assess wounds and attend to dressings as per the care plan
  • Monitor and assist clients to use continence devices and change the IDC and SPC
  • Assist with showering, bathing, shaving, dressing, toileting and denture care, and a range of other personal care duties
  • Provide a high level of holistic care including social, emotional, spiritual support
Requirements:
  • Unrestricted AHPRA Registration, with a minimum 2 years practicing as an RN
  • Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001)
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A current driver license, registration and access to your own car with comprehensive car insurance
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (The MyHomecare Group will organise via Work Pro at no cost)
  • A current NDIS worker check
