Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Player Services Assistant. This position will provide comprehensive support for player services, including administration, logistics, and other related tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively time-manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for player services, including visa administration, accommodation, and other logistical tasks
  • Ensure a high level of professional service by promptly directing player inquiries to relevant tournament areas during the event
  • Monitor communication channels for players and deliver timely updates
  • Assist in the planning, design, and setup of player areas at the Australian Open
  • Support with player gifting and entertainment
  • Collaborate with Tennis Australia departments and external suppliers
Requirements
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively time-manage and prioritize conflicting tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in situations requiring complex decision-making
  • Highly developed computer skills with experience in databases and Microsoft suite
  • Proven experience in events, event management, sports administration or similar
