Senior Manager

Job Description: As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic solutions to clients with complex tax matters and efficiently managing their tax responsibilities. You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations to deliver innovative solutions that meet clients' needs while maximizing business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: The Senior Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and accounting calculations. This includes delivering a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, and leading and mentoring the team.

Requirements: We are looking for individuals with detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, gained in a professional services firm or comparable industry role. Strong communication skills and ability to lead client engagements on substantive tax matters and coordinate various engagements are essential. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent is preferred.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate and manage the provision of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients.
  • Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs.
  • Support senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Lead and mentor the team, fostering career development and a positive team culture.
